Angela-Rae & Acupuncture

I wasn’t born into a culture where acupuncture was common practice, but I do believe I was born to do this.

As far back as I can remember I’ve had an awareness of “something more”.  As a teen I was very inquisitive and wanted to learn more about spirituality, psychology, sociology ~ to gain more of an understanding of the unseen.

It was my Uncle Reigh (my namesake) who introduced me to Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).  He sought Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Treatments in lieu of Western Medicine after receiving a cancer diagnosis.  I witnessed his greatly enhanced quality of life which provided the ability for him to fulfill his “Bucket List”.

I also have another family member who has been able to successfully manage debilitating fibromyalgia symptoms with acupuncture.  I believe we have a lot to learn from this ancient form of health care and that addressing the root cause of problems, instead of merely treating the symptoms, is the key to good health.

Traditional Chinese Medicine gets to the root of the issue instead of just dealing with symptoms. TCM considers how our emotions and stress affects our bodies and our health.

I am a “Lifelong Learner”. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a double major in marketing and management from MSVU in Halifax, NS.  After working in in management for a number of years I decided to pursue a less stressful and more balanced career where my work would more positively impact the lives of others.  Afterall our level of health touches every aspect of our lives.

I am thrilled to offer a range of TCM treatments at 2 locations;

Bedford -> Natural Choices Health Care

Sackville ->
